Shepherd Hills Golf Club

A five-page site for an 18-hole public course that puts the tees, the rates, and tee-time requests in front of golfers.

Built for Shepherd Hills Golf Club, Wescosville, PA

The problem

The club's information was spread across old directory listings with details that did not match. Golfers could not see the course, check green fees, or ask for a tee time without calling the pro shop.

What a site like this needs to do

  • Show the course, the three tee sets, and a sample scorecard
  • Let golfers request a tee time online
  • Lay out green fees and course policies in plain terms
  • Handle outing, banquet, and catering inquiries
  • Load fast on a phone with a weak signal

The approach

Shepherd Hills is an 18-hole, par-70 public course in the Lehigh Valley. It has been open since the 1960s and it plays fair for every handicap. None of that came through online. The club showed up as a few directory entries with phone numbers that did not agree.

The site is five pages. Home sets the tone and points at the two things people want: book a tee time and see the course. The Course page covers the layout, a tee comparison, and a hole-by-hole scorecard. Rates & Tee Times lists the green fees, the twilight pricing, and the course policies, with a tee-time request form. Outings & Events handles the banquet room and catering, with its own quote form. Contact has the hours, the directions, and a message form.

It is built as static HTML with one stylesheet and a small script for the mobile menu. There is no framework and no build step. The pages are light, so they open fast on a phone at the first tee. The forms are wired to hand off to a booking provider when the club is ready.
